Location: Calgary, AB   Department: Dot Transportation Canada, Inc.   Reports To: Director of Transportation

Pay Range - $0.64 per mile, plus $50/night Layover  

Your Role – Operate commercial tractor trailer with a max GVWR of 80,000lbs, to and from set locations.

• Safely and efficiently operate equipment
• Comply with all company, legal and regulatory requirements
• Meet established company goals
• Read and understand driver load paperwork
• Perform other duties as required

Role Specifics – In this role, you will also:

• Be dispatched once a week, to Dryden, ON, and return to dispatch location in Calgary, approx 2200 miles.
• Work in all weather conditions
• Drive, sit, walk and stand as required by the job
• Perform regular, physical activity including lifting up to 25 KG on a regular basis

We Need You To Have:

• Class 1 or A license with Z Endorsement
• A clean abstract
• A minimum of 12-months experience as an AZ driver
• Medical examiner certificate
• Ability to read, speak, and comprehend the English language

We’d Like You To Have:

• Previous longhaul driving experience in Canada
• Haz Mat Certification
